However, you can dilute them with a body butter or aloe vera gel. If you have oily eyelids, I recommend just using shea butter instead of body butter.

  • 1 teaspoon liquid foundation
  • 1 teaspoon concealer
  • 1 teaspoon unscented body butter without fragrance or essential oils
  • a few drops aloe vera gel

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in a covered container. I like to use small lip balm pots for this homemade eyeshadow primer recipe.

This one uses a premade lip balm. Just make sure that you use a natural one with no fragrance or essential oils.

Again, this may not be the best eyeshadow primer recipe for oily lids because of the lip balm.

  • 1/2 teaspoon natural lip balm
  • 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
  • 1 teaspoon liquid foundation
